Memsource Web Editor 3.28 is scheduled for release on Sunday, 23 June at 18:00 GMT. Memsource Web Editor is currently in beta and not available to all Memsource users. Read more about the roll-out process.
These are some of the most important features in the new version:
Terminology
- New terms can be added directly from within the Web Editor
- Use the Alt+T shortcut to do this
- The terms will be added to the project’s term base in the write mode
Repetitions
- Repetition exceptions are now supported
- The feature works in the same way as in the desktop Memsource Editor
- Simply click on the repetition icon to turn a repetition into a repetition exception
- Tags can be expanded and visualized (via Ctrl+Shift+E)
- Superscript, subscript supported visually
- And many more improvements…
Spellchecker
- A batch spellchecker has been added
- It gets launched via F7 and the results get displayed in the QA panel
Expand Tags
- Tags can be expanded and visualized (via Ctrl+Shift+E)
- This feature works for selected file types: (HTML, XML, XLIFF, SDLXLIFF, DITA)
Superscript and Subscript
- Superscript and subscript formatting is now supported visually, not as tags
- In just the same way as in Memsource Editor
